It gives me great pleasure to announce that AMC Commercial Cleaning has embarked on our reconciliation journey formally. Today, we are incredibly proud to launch our REFLECT RECONCILIATION ACTION PLAN (RAP).

This marks the first step in our long-term commitment to better understand, engage and build meaningful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, creating a more equitable and inclusive environment for tomorrow.

AMC’s Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) is an integral part of our overall strategy to drive change and action towards reconciliation. The RAP formalises our goals and commitments at both an organisational and individual level to support First Nations employees and to ensure purposeful and impactful community engagement.

We will be embedding initiatives within our organisation to expand our ownership to include First Nation’s people and ensure we’re recognising their specific investment needs and opportunities. We also intend partnering with First Nations organisations to extend our impact to the communities in which we operate.

Our thanks to the young artist group from Ingeous studios led by Leigh Harris based in Cairns, hailing from Kanolu and Gungarri peoples of Queensland, for creating an artwork that tells AMC’s journey towards reconciliation in the most beautiful way.

We look forward to continuing the important conversations and working towards a more equitable Australia for all.
