Monte moved to Australia from India in 2008 and started cleaning while studying for his Certificate III in hospitality at Shafston International College. Monte started cleaning in a part time role and quickly worked his way up to supervisory positions as he completed his studies, including several years working for Queensland’s Parliament House!

In 2017 Monte secured a fulltime supervisor role with Chevron Australia. He joined AMC at the start of 2018, and he genuinely enjoys contributing and creating a clean healthy environment for his clients to come to work in each day.

He says that keeping informed on best practice cleaning and effective task management is vital in providing a high standard of COVID-19 cleaning. Monte’s conscientiousness has gained him a lot of appreciation and outstanding feedback from his clients.

Krishani is a relatively new but very welcome addition to the AMC family, having moved to Australia in February 2020 to join her husband who had been invited to play professional cricket for a Warrnambool club. Given the uncertainties around COVID-19 the couple left their two children with Krishani’s parents in Sri Lanka until they could get settled in Australia. Krishani has settled in beautifully with her position at Merrivale Primary School, putting all of her effort into her cleaning and surface disinfection services to maintain the safest possible environment for the children there. Krishani was recently touched to receive a booklet full of thankful messages from the children. She’s also making exciting plans for the future with her culinary management studies.

Di has worked as a cleaner for ten years, and over time her sphere of activity has grown and she’s had to take on more of a supervisory role overseeing 17 staff for a range of clients. As you might expect, Di’s days can be busy, but she says she finds immense satisfaction and pride in her work. Di is a big believer that respect goes a long way, both with clients and employees, and she’s happy to provide job opportunities to anyone who will feel the same level of pride in their work.
About three years ago Di took over a site that had been neglected and following lots of hard work from her and her staff, the site is now running like clockwork. When she’s not at work, you’ll probably find Di happily gardening.
